How ownership works

  1. You own an Eagle. A specific 1 oz American Silver Eagle produced by the U.S. Mint.
  2. It sits in a vault. BlueVault vaults and insures it, allocated to you.
  3. You hold legal title. GATCo holds the coin as bailee and issues digital title to it, structured under the Uniform Commercial Code in Nevada.
  4. Ownership moves. Title transfers digitally through SATCHEL; F1R3FLY protects the ownership data.
  5. You can redeem. Take delivery of the physical coin, subject to program terms.

How it differs from a silver ETF

  • A fund share tracks the price; SET is ownership of a specific coin.
  • Fund redemption in kind is generally limited to authorized participants; you can take delivery of your coin.
  • Your coin is held in the United States, at a named custodian.

Who does what

  • GATCo — issuer; keeps the record of legal title.
  • BlueVault — protects the asset: custody and insurance.
